The decision to integrate is a natural extension of the companies’ joint focus on championing clients’ efforts to use actionable intelligence to increase policy compliance, reduce travel costs and simplify travel and entertainment (T&E) procurement and reimbursement processes for both the employee and the travel program manager. Gelco and Travelocity Business clients will be able to capture data and expenses booked through TBiz’s online booking tool or travel agents, matching the booked data with actual spend. By automatically comparing booked to actual data, financial and travel managers gain easy access to meaningful information that their organizations can use to improve travel program management.
