Contact Us >>	This year’s Gelco annual customer conference, PERSPECTIVES 2005, was held in New Orleans, LA, on March 20-23. There were more than 200 attendees at the three-day conference representing a wide variety of industries including pharmaceutical and healthcare, food and beverage manufacturing, finance and insurance, and other manufacturing industries. Governmental organizations were also well represented. Overall, customer attendees felt the conference provided them a good opportunity to gain additional knowledge about current Gelco solutions, network with others in their industries and share key learning on their expense management program. Industry experts and analysts representing Paystream Advisors, Management Alternatives Inc., Deloitte & Touche, American Express and GE Corporate Payment Systems, presented industry insights and spoke on future expense management market trends. Based on customer feedback, sessions of greatest value were related to IRS regulations and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. Gelco customers also gave conference presentations on their best-practice usage of Gelco solutions and how they maximized the value of their expense management programs. Customer presentations were the highlight of the show and Gelco greatly appreciates the contribution customers made to the conference. Client Best Practice – Fax Imaging Cindy Williams, EMD Pharmaceuticals Inc. Client Best Practice – Receipt & Audit Services Teresa Dehler, Expedia Inc. Deployment of a Global Expense Management Program Fax Imaging, Receipt and Audit Services as well as Reporting and Analysis sessions were considered to be of the greatest value to attendees. The addition this year of executive-only sessions was also well received. Executive-level customers heard presentations on a wide variety of industry and Gelco solution topics including “Gelco and the Global Market” and “Industry Analysis of the Expense Management Industry.” One executive attendee commented that they appreciated learning about the changes happening in the industry and then about the Gelco solutions that would help address those changes.
