As the program administrator of your Gelco expense management program, you are vital to Gelco’s ability to provide your organization with smooth and effective expense management services. There are system updates, new federal regulations and functional enhancements that can impact your employees’ service as well as your ability to administer the expense management program. Gelco regularly communicates this information through a number of specialized email communications. These notices can help make sure you are the first to find out about any service changes and that your company is getting the most out of its investment. If you do not currently receive any of these email communications, please contact your Gelco account manager to subscribe. If you have subscribed but still don’t receive these communications, it could be a result of your company’s SPAM filter and firewall. If this is the case, we can easily provide you and your IT representative with information to overcome this problem. Here are the email communications you should be receiving from Gelco: Gelco PA Alert: An email from Gelco Expense Management with “Gelco PA Alert” in the subject header should be read right away. The Gelco PA Alert lets you know about system issues, outages, upcoming maintenance windows and more. These messages may directly affect your employees’ ability to access the expense management system and you may need to quickly inform your organization about these situations. Fortunately, we don’t have to send this communication out very often, but this information helps ensure that your employees are minimally affected. Some of our customers’ IT representatives also receive the Gelco PA Alert email so they can be kept aware of potential technical issues. Gelco SmartPA: A Gelco SmartPA is an educational email communication that is designed to keep you informed about new Gelco solutions, enhancements, customer service holiday hours, changes in IRS mileage rates, and more. This type of email is sent to customers as needed, on average about once or twice a month. If an email comes from Gelco SmartPA, you know it includes new information regarding your Gelco Expense Management program and what, as program administrator, you may need to do. Other individuals in your organization may elect to receive the Gelco SmartPA communication. Please contact your Gelco account manager to have others added to our email list. Other Gelco Communications: As you are already aware, the Gelco Advisor is our quarterly customer newsletter. It is designed to provide you with educational and industry-related information. It is designed to be a resource for your organization and you may wish to share this newsletter with others in your organization. Gelco SmartTalks : Gelco SmartTalks is a monthly web seminar with thought leaders in the field of expense management and finance. These popular live online educational events are held monthly and the topics vary. SmartTalks email invitations come from “Gelco SmartTalks” and you may forward your invitation to others in your organization that you think may benefit.
