Gelco Sunsets Support of Travel Manager 8.2

Out with the old and in with the new – bigger and better – whatever the analogy, technology advances. With the release of Gelco Travel Manager 9.0 in February 2005, Gelco will be sunsetting support for Gelco Travel Manager 8.2 effective January 1, 2007.

What does this mean to customers using Travel Manager 8.2?
Gelco will no longer provide technical support for customers on Travel Manager 8.2, nor will we provide implementations or configuration of this version. Additionally, we will no longer provide monthly per diem rate updates for Travel Manager 8.2.

Why is Gelco discontinuing support?
Gelco must leverage new database technologies to continue delivering the highest level of technical responsiveness.

Now what?
In anticipation of changing database technologies, Gelco made significant investments over the past 18 months to deliver Travel Manager 9.0. Travel Manager 9.0 delivers great enhancement to the capabilities customers currently enjoy in Travel Manager 8.2, including:

• Support of more contemporary underlying technologies and Gelco’s Dynamic Documents functionality. Dynamic Documents provides support for a host of other indirect expenses beyond T&E that a customer may want to process through an automated solution.
• For those customers governed by the eTravel initiative, Travel Manager 9.0 functionality meets the complex eTravel requirements while providing the easiest processing experience for users, leveraging the many years of experience that Gelco has in designing solutions that make expense management easy and effective for customers.

Travel Manager 9.0 sounds great, how do I get it?
Gelco will work with you to make the migration as easy as possible. In order to facilitate all migrations this year, Gelco is encouraging early migrations by offering 2 days of free consulting (a $2,384 value) for those clients who engage in a migration plan by September 1, 2006.
