Introducing the Release of Gelco Travel Manager 9.0 Service Pack 2
Gelco Travel Manager was built from the ground up to address the unique compliance issues of today’s leading industries. Gelco Travel Manager provides you with the tools necessary to cut through the confusing web of regulations by streamlining the compliance and expense management process. Regulatory compliance is a central capability of the solution, and not a bolt-on addition. As a result, Gelco Travel Manager is ready out of the box to support your workflows and regulations.
Our dedication to your success drives the enhancements and improvements to our product. The release of Service Pack 2 includes these enhancement highlights:
- The message “You have documents awaiting your review and approval. Choose review documents from the Menu” no longer displays when users first log in to Document Preparation
- A new permission was added to let administrators control whether users can add ad hoc expenses
- Several new permissions were added to let users separately create, edit, and copy documents
- A new permission was added to control access to the Report Preferences window
Improved Solution
In addition to our Service Pack 2 enhancements, Gelco listened to what you said about the solution. We not only enhance our solutions, but we strive to produce the most efficient and accurate solutions for your expense management process. Using the insights provided by you, we included the following improvements to Gelco Travel Manager, among others:
- Apostrophes are now accepted in the Label field on the Accounting window
- A message now displays on the Total Details window if an invalid accounting code is entered in a document
- When one approver on a **(star-star) account level of the routing list stamps the document, the Days Left value for other approvers on the same level is retained
- On the EFT Account Types window, the Charge Card Account check box is automatically selected for the CHG CARD account type
- Documents display on the Delete Documents window for travelers that exist only on a document. Also, users can globally save a document-only traveler
- On the new combined Expenses window, Gelco recommends a maximum limit of 20 rows for best performance when clicking Customize Display or Add Rows
- Performance was improved on the Expense Detail window
- New indexes were added to prevent full table scans
- A user can access the Admin module if he/she has any one of the three Access Module permissions
- Performance was improved for the Unsubmitted Voucher report
- Notices for EP reports can be saved or printed in a separate file from the report file
- On the Calendar lookup window, today’s date is highlighted in a rectangle and the currently selected date is highlighted in an oval for easier viewing
A Glimpse of Service Pack 3
The future release of Service Pack 3 to Gelco Travel Manager 9.0 will provide enhancements to both Gelco Travel Manager 9.0 and Gelco Integration Manager 2.0. The immediate release of Service Pack 3 further defines our commitment to you. Listed below are some enhancements for Service Pack 3:
- User interface screens were added/updated to support Gelco Integration Manager 2.0
- New system preferences were added to support Gelco Integration Manager 2.0
- Gelco Travel Manager 9.0 verifies that the spooler database is up before sending documents to Gelco Integration Manager 2.0
