CardLink receives rave reviews
Gelco’s CardLink enhancements are rolled out to clients after positive feedback from early users

Gelco recently announced several enhancements to our corporate card integration capabilities which allow companies to:

  • enhance compliance & fraud deterrence
  • improve traveler productivity
  • maximize card program ROI
  • gain greater management oversight & visibility

As part of Gelco’s ongoing commitment to delivering value with our expense management solutions, these newly released capabilities have been positively received by several organizations which were chosen to implement them in 2005. Here are some comments from some of the early release clients:

CapitalSource, a commercial finance company, wanted more control and wanted expenses submitted in a timely manner as they use a centrally paid corporate card program. After implementing Gelco’s CardLink enhancements, they said: “Reconciliation is a much easier process now - our outstanding list of AMEX expenses is actually correct.” “We have been able to realize “pass thru” expenses sooner so that we can bill our clients back.”

Kodak, a global imaging innovator, chose to implement CardLink to make filing expenses even easier for users and eliminates additional manual steps. They also wanted to put more controls in place to decrease errors including duplicate transactions, conversion errors and fraudulent use. After implementation they received positive feedback from their employees on the less time consuming process to submit an expense report.

Shire, a global specialty pharmaceutical company, had employees who were not submitting transactions in a timely manner and they previously had no way to do accruals since they did not know what card transactions were out there but not submitted by users. After using the new Unsubmitted Corporate Card Report for their year-end accrual, they were able to capture what charges were out there and just not yet applied to an expense report. “This new report absolutely nailed it; it is a big sigh of relief.” Additionally, Shire said that employees can no longer hide things and this deters people who continually abuse policies as they must now submit all expenses.

Hilti, a global manufacturer, received overwhelmingly positive feedback from their employees about the capability to auto-apply all card transactions and eliminating one step in expense report completion. Hilti looks forward to CardLink reducing filing errors and increasing speed of filing for their users.
